Abstract

The study was carried to throw light on how effective warehousing can have impact an customer satisfaction.

Research has found that customer satisfaction is positively related to repurchase intention, actualh repurchase, market share, and word of mouth. There is growing recognition among managers of the importance of measuring the share of business a customer conducts with a particular service provide (share-of-wallet) as opposed to simply repurchasing a product or service at some point in the future or continuing to keep a business relationship with a service provider. Currently there is very little empirical research concerning the relationship between customer satisfaction and share-of-wallet. This research examines the relationship between satisfaction and actual share-of-wallet in a business-to-business environment. The authors not only find that there is a positive relationship but the relation is nonlinear, with the greatest positive impact occurring at the upper extreme of satisfaction levels.

It is also clear that EPP BOOKS has an adequate space for storing and the nature of the storage has been chosen for effectiveness. Per the responses given, the common means of storage in the warehouse is racks. The reasons of employing racking are numerous, but the researcher is of the opinion that racking is deployed in business premises all around the world and this is testament to the safety record that warehouse racking, which comes in a variety of different forms, is able to boast.
