Abstract
This article in its endeavour tries to trace the historical evolution of special status that inhabitants of Jammu And Kashmir State enjoyed and legal debate on the same with references from authentic books, legal experts and previous court judgements so to enlighten the readers with pros and cons of the matter. The paper will also enlighten the readers about the constitutional mechanism of India with Jammu and Kashmir and debate on the same. This paper also envisions the historical legal and political dimensions of the article 370 and article 35a. Much of the paper will cover the legal domain of the issue since the problem is legal and constitutional so it will have to put through legal route.
