Implementation of a happy family concept in tackling the ‘Three Ends’ at Karangasem Bali



Abstract

Tianyar village of Karangasem regency is one of the villages located in the easternmost of Karangasem region. The village area is a very dry territory, most of the population is illiterate, The practice of early marriages are rampant; family planning programs are not successful. The area is susceptible to domestic violence, human trafficking, and injustices of the women’s economy access. The problem formulation is the implementation of a happy family in tackling the ‘Three Ends’ in the village of Tianyar Karangasem Regency. The purpose of this study is to assess the implementation of the jaga hita family concept in tackling the Three Ends. The method used is the method of empirical legal research. Implementation is done by educating the concept of a happy family based on the values of Hinduism, educating responsibility as a parent to a child, educating equality of husband and wife in the family so that women have access to economic, educating a family friendly concept with the expectation of the implementation of Three Ends.
