Abstract
The configuration of democracy in the society of the Kyamans of Abidjan is based on the alternation in the regulation of land between elders and social cadets. This system of political governance that governs the social order in the community follows a cyclical dynamics of devolution of the attributes of the management of the land system between age classes. In a socio-anthropological approach, we use the theory of social dominance to apprehend the relationships of authorities between dominant and dominated in the relations wich bind them to the land.
