Abstract
The authority of the Bible is one of the controversial issues in the theological topics. The issue has received divergent opinions from Biblical scholars. The question therefore motivated by this study is that, does the authority of the bible reflect in its words and mission? Some theologians had argued that the words in the bible are divinely inspired by God. Thus the paper will educate and inform the readers that the bible is inerrant and infallible as compared to other books. The study is also positively confirmed that the authority of the bible is demonstrated in its words and the mission.
