Automobile market forwards to the prospects in 2019

After more than half of 2019, Vietnam automobile market continuously recorded many remarkable fluctuations. According to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), after the first 7 months of 2019, the association's members sold a total of 171,640 complete cars of all kinds. Notably, this sales increased sharply by 20% compared to 143,324 vehicles of the same period in 2018.Leading in sales is still THACO - Truong Hai Group with a total of 53,657 vehicles sold. THACO also took the lead with 31.3 market share of VAMA. Although THACO has the leading sales, THACO has a significant decrease compared to the same period in 2018. At this time last year, THACO sold up to 57,906 vehicles and accounted for 40.4% of VAMA's market share. Mazda is still THACO's best independent brand with 20,160 vehicles sold. Mazda also currently has a growth rate of over 7% over the same period last year. Behind Mazda is the Korean brand - KIA with 16,496 cars sold after the first 7 months of 2019.
