Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the teaching and learning activities within medical facilities has been reflected on the skills of medical and nursing students while practising in the clinical areas. Due to the sudden outbreak many nursing staff have been relocated to other areas to help with the pandemic, putting them in the frontline and causing psychological stress6. This study investigates the nature of how the COVID-19 Pandemic has affected the under and post graduate nurses when transitioning to clinical areas. This qualitative study looks at the effects that on-line education had on the practical skills of transitioning graduates into the workforce.
