Abstract
As everyone around is rattling on about women empowerment but in practicality the situation might be different what seems at the superficial level. Often what is witnessed as a means to break through historical barriers of gender inequality, culture, etc., however; it can also lead to internal conflicts regarding self-identity. Despite being the efforts done by women becoming empowered still they are facing the constant issues of identity crisis. Some are eventually searching for, fighting for and craving for personal identity still yet being empowered. The paper puts forth that under the gab of empowerment; social dilemmas to identity crisis amongst women still needs due consideration.
